We moved 3 Sept 2010, and I still can't believe it. Feels like I'm on a break in someone else's holiday house.
It rained, but I covered the limestone tiles and carpet with rugs, carpet offcuts and every bedsheet i could get my hands on.
Tip#1: Think about what you can't live without, and put them in a box. Don't lose this box. (I've lost all my underwear)
Tip#2: Parents don't label anything. Do it yourself.

Bricks again
The frame was finished on Tuesday 23rd March 2010.
Wednesday they delivered more bricks.
Last week I called my local council to draw up driveway and pavement plans, and gas meter installation has been arranged through AGL. They said it'll probably take a month to install.

Slab down!
I took the opportunity to sleep in, so when I arrived on site they were almost finished pouring the slab. Drat! My bad. I recognise John, one of the guys who did the piering. He's the oldest, has most leathery lobster complexion and also the best eye for detailed work.
I left them sitting having lunch, and when I got home Jillian called saying the slab was done. She knows CBA haven't pulled any fingers out; all her CBA clients are held up!
